Buprenorphine

Buprenorphine is a partial agonist of opioid receptors that carries a low risk of overdose. Buprenorphine reduces or eliminates withdrawal symptoms associated with opioid dependence but does not produce the euphoria and sedation caused by heroin or other opioids.
